Lay Organization:
The purpose of the Lay Organization shall be to organize and train the lay members of the African Episcopal Church so that each member may maximally utilize their God given abilities and skills to improve and extend the kingdom, to create happiness, peace, and harmony among its members.
Women’s Missionary Society:
The Lucinda Enox Missionary Society, as women called to discipleship to grow in knowledge and experience of God through Jesus Christ, committed to support the mission of the church, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are challenged to help one another engage in ministry and action, and grow and respond in faith to God’s redemptive plan for the church, the society, and the world.
Young People’s & Children’s Division:
The purpose of the Young People’s & Children’s Division, ages 2-26, to provide meaningful resources, training, and guidance in all areas of church life which encourage full participation in the mission programs and activities of the entire church and this organization.
Richard Allen Young Adult Council:
Richard Allen Young Adult Council (RAYAC) was born at the 45th Quadrennial Session of the AME Church and is an outgrowth of the Richard Allen Youth Council. The RAYAC no longer serves as an overseeing body of other youth organizations, it is now a group for young adults between the ages of 21-39. The goal of the RAYAC is to retain young adults to the Lord, the church, and to lead young adults to use their gifts and talents in the service of the Lord.
Sons of Allens:
The Sons of Allen is a group of men in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. They provide mentoring programs for young men. The organization seeks to create a ministry for men who face spiritual, social, political, and psychological challenges This group is named after Bishop Richard Allen, the founder of the A.M.E. Church. Their mission includes fostering closer relationships between men, equipping them for meaningful service, reaching unchurched men, and presenting positive role models for youth
